Kabul : According to the National Center for Seismology, a 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck Afghanistan at 1:40 am on Thursday. The earthquake occurred at 69.51 longitude, 34.53 latitude at a depth of 136 km.

Earlier on March 2, a magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck Afghanistan’s Faizabad region at 2:35 am. According to National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at 37.73 latitude, 73.47 longitude at a depth of 245 km.
