Police have registered a case against Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan on charges of terrorism. When Imran Khan appeared in the Islamabad court for trial in the Toshikhana case, the PTI activists took up massive agitations against it. Clashes took place between the protestors and the police in order to control them. The police filed a case against around 17 people, including Imran Khan, on terrorism charges following the vandalism of the protesters.

New Delhi: A case has been registered against Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan on charges of terrorism. Pakistan Police filed a case on Sunday. A case has been registered against former Prime Minister Imran Khan and a dozen other PTI leaders. The police registered the case due to vandalism in the judicial complex.
Imran Khan is all set to appear in the long-awaited trial in the Toshakhana case. He came to Islamabad from Lahore. PTI leaders and workers have taken up agitation programs to block this investigation. In this order, while he was going to the Islamabad Judicial Complex, these agitations took place seriously. Massive protests were held at the judicial complex.
During the investigation of this case, the Pakistani police made great efforts to arrest the PTI leaders and activists. 25 security personnel were injured in the clashes that took place when the police tried to control the protesters. As a result, Additional District and Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal adjourned the case till March 30.

The police have filed a case against those who did the riots and vandalism. Islamabad police have registered a case against PTI workers and wanted leaders. Geo News reported that an FIR has been registered against around 17 PTI leaders. In the case of this destruction, the police have charged terrorism charges against former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and his party PTI leaders and workers.
