A big accident was averted in Ibrahimpatnam of NTR district. A lorry driver’s negligence cost him his life. But the locals alerted and saved the driver. But on the Vijayawada-Hyderabad highway, the casapeo caused traffic to stand still and caused inconvenience to the motorists.
After unloading, the lorry was brought on the road without lowering the tipper and hit the electric wires. In the process of removing these wires, the lorry driver was electrocuted. Immediately, the people around responded and hit him with a stick and saved his life. The police reached the spot and cleared the traffic jam on the highway due to the mishap of the lorry.
