After the division of the state, as the Congress party was established in the state, she has been staying away from politics. In this order, he joined the TDP and hoped for a ticket. But Kamala was disappointed when the leadership confirmed the Mangalagiri seat to Nara Lokesh. But a few days before the 2019 elections, he joined YCP in the presence of YS Jagan.
