CBI has arrested AAP leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the liquor policy scam case. The Congress party strongly denies this. At this moment, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary responded and accused the BJP of using central agencies to target opposition leaders. He said that his party does not believe in revenge politics.
Chaudhary made this statement on the CBI’s arrest of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said in a press conference at the party office in West Bengal that the Congress party has never indulged in any kind of revenge politics. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said that Congress is strongly against such actions and does not believe in revenge politics
Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary further said that Congress believes in politics of politeness and politics of dissent. So, naturally, the opinion of the Congress party can be easily known, he said. He said that Congress will always stand for righteousness and justice, and also fight for freedom and equality. The Bengal Congress chief alleged that the Congress party was facing consequences for several movements led by the BJP.
But Adhir Ranjan said that Congress is ready to face it. If any party loots the Congress vote bank with their own activities, the Congress party is ready to face it politically and also face it across the country, criticizing it as a revenge move by the BJP.
