ICC Test Rankings: Team India’s star off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has once again shown his ability in the ICC Test Rankings. England’s veteran pacer kept the number one position despite his surge.

India’s star off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin continues to be number one in the ICC Test bowlers list. The team’s veteran pacer James Anderson, who performed better in the two Tests played by England against New Zealand, jumped to the number one position, but Ashwin showed his strength again. Despite losing six rating points, he continues to be the number one bowler.
Ashwin has lost 6 rating points compared to last week in the list of test rankings released by ICC. Ashwin and Anderson have 859 rating points equally. However, it is remarkable that Ashwin got the number one position.
Australia’s captain Pat Cummins, who was number one in this list till a few days ago, stood third with 849 points. Kagiso Rabada is fourth with 807 points. Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi is at the fifth position while Bumrah is at the sixth position and Ravindra Jadeja is at the eighth position. Aussie spinner Nathan Lyon was ranked 9th.
And in the list of batters, Aussie star batter Marnus Labushane stood at the number one position with 919 points, followed by Steve Smith, Joe Root and Babar Azam. Only Rishabh Pant is in the top 10 from Team India at the 8th position.
In the list of Test all-rounders, Team India’s superstar Ravindra Jadeja has retained the number one position with 445 rating points, while Ashwin is at the second position with 363 points. Shakib Al Hasan and Ben Stokes are at the third and fourth positions while Akshar Patel is at the fifth position.
As far as the ODI rankings are concerned, Babar Azam continues to be the number one batsman, followed by Shubman Gill (6), Virat Kohli (7) and Rohit Sharma (9) from India. Mohammad Siraj retained the number one position in the list of bowlers. Shakib Al Hasan is number one in the list of all rounders. He continues to be number one in the list of T20 all-rounders. Suryakumar Yadav among the batsmen and Vanindu Hasranga among the bowlers continue to be in the top positions in the short format.
