Narasa Raopet: A party worker along with his wife and children committed suicide in front of the house of a ruling YCP MLA. This incident took place at Narasa Raopet in Palnadu district. MLA Gopireddy committed suicide with the wife and children of a YCP activist named Bhaskar Reddy in front of Srinivas Reddy’s house. The said YCP worker alleged that YCP leaders who trusted him very much had cheated him. When he tried to commit suicide by pouring petrol on his body, the bystanders stopped him. On receiving the information, the police detained the family of the YCP activist who tried to commit suicide and took them to the police station.
