Vikarabad: A young man named Raghupathi raped a female student studying in tenth class in Agganur Government School of Yalala mandal in the district. The district collector suspended the headmaster Venkataswamy for negligence in this matter.
The principal took the students of Yalala Mandal Agganur Zilla Parishad High School on a trip to Hyderabad on 13th of this month. He returned to school on the morning of the 14th of this month after a vacation in Hyderabad. But the students who came to the school were handed over to their parents. The parents of four students from Veerashettipally and Perkampally Tanda did not come to the school.
Principal Venkataswamy asked Raghupathi, a former student of the same school, to drop these four students in their villages. With this, Raghupati took these four people and left in the car. After dropping off three students at Perkampalli Tanda, Raghupathi sexually assaulted the girl while on her way to Veerashettipally. After that he left the girl at home. The victim told the family members about this incident two days later. The victim’s family members filed a police complaint about the incident. Police arrested Raghupathi based on this complaint. On the other hand, the school principal Venkatasmami was suspended by the collector for his negligence in this incident.
