Congress leader Rahul Gandhi: While addressing his first election rally in Meghalaya, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the RSS. Rahul Gandhi said in a meeting held at Malki Ground in Shillong that his speech will not be seen in the media like that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also criticized the TMC, accusing the BJP of fighting Meghalaya elections to come to power in the northeastern state. He called upon the people to fight together against BJP-RSS. He said that the Congress will not allow the BJP to harm the language, culture and history of Meghalaya.
