The budget sessions of the Delhi Assembly will begin from March 17. The Assembly will present the Annual Budget 2023-24 on March 21. Kailash Gehlot, who is in charge of Delhi Finance Department, will present the budget in the House this time. After AAP came to power in Delhi in 2015, the finance department was handled by the party’s senior leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. As a result, Gehlot held several meetings with the Finance Ministry officials regarding the budget. Even before Sisodia’s arrest, Gehlot was a part of the budget-related meetings. Also, the budget session of the Assembly will begin with the speech of Delhi Lt. Governor VK Saxena.
