Mamata Banerjee said that she will contest alone and will not have any alliance with anyone in the 2024 elections. He said that in 2024, Trinamool will have an alliance among the people and will not go with other political parties.

Going into the details, Trinamool Congress leader and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced that the Trinamool Congress will contest alone in next year’s general elections with the support of the people. He said that in 2024 there will be an alliance between only Trinamool Congress and people. He said that he will not go with other parties. Mamata Banerjee made it clear that she will fight the elections alone with the support of the people. With this, many leaders and parties have watered down the issue that the opposition parties should show unity in order to overthrow the BJP government at the center in the upcoming elections.

“I believe that those who want to defeat BJP will vote for us… At the same time, I believe that those who vote for CPM and Congress are voting for BJP… This truth has come to light today,” he said while referring to the Assembly election results in Tripura. The TMC could not win a single seat in the 60-member Tripura Assembly.

Mamata Banerjee expressed confidence that she will contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections with the support of the people and those who want to defeat the BJP will vote for the TMC. He expressed hope that the same will happen in 2024. However, several leaders responded that it is worrying that the TMC has announced that they will contest alone, while many opposition leaders are uniting against the BJP. A rally was held in Chennai on Wednesday (March 1) on the occasion of Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin’s birthday. Congress president Mallikharjuna Kharge and many leaders including Akhilesh Yadav were present. At this time also he reiterated the need for all the leaders to unite against the BJP.
