BJP national president JP Nadda said that the Congress is mentally bankrupt and does not deserve to work in a democracy. He visited Bengaluru on Thursday. Addressing a public meeting here, he lashed out at the Congress. He alleged that the Congress is mentally bankrupt and does not have the capacity to function in a democracy. He also accused Congress of working on ‘Bharat Todo Yatra’ in Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Nadda was responding to Rahul Gandhi’s recent speech in Britain. Without mentioning Rahul Gandhi’s name.. “Nobody listened to him during the recent ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in the country, so he is giving speeches in England these days.” These people (Congress) have now started opposing the country just to oppose Modi. He started the Bharat Jodo Yatra. However, he did a break trip to India.
Describing JD(S) and Congress as two faces of the same coin, Nadda said that both parties believe in corruption, family rule, divisive politics, divide and rule, commission, corruption, casteism and communalism. If you believe in JD(S) family rule, then Congress party is limited to one family.
He also said that all Congress leaders are out on bail, they are involved in corruption and commissions, similarly JD(S) is also involved in corruption. Both parties are like brothers. He criticized that voting for JD(S) means strengthening Congress and voting for Congress means strengthening corruption.
Nadda alleged that Congress and JD(S) simultaneously withdrew the cases against the Popular Front of India and released around 1,700 activists from jail. “He made sensational comments that PFI, which created communal hatred in Karnataka, has the support of both parties, but today they are banned across the country. Such people should not be allowed to come to power… He said that the country is safe under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, and the state is safe under the leadership of former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa and CM Basavaraj Bommai.
