In the last 24 hours, 754 new corona cases have been registered in the country, according to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health on Thursday morning. With this, the total number of Covid cases reported in the country so far has reached 4.46 crore (4,46,92,710). But after a gap of four months, the highest number of corona cases have been reported in the country. Last year on November 12, 734 corona cases were reported in the country.
One person died in Karnataka recently due to Corona. With this, the number of deaths due to Corona has increased to 5,30,790 in the country so far. With the latest corona cases, the number of corona active cases in the country has reached 4,623. Active cases account for 0.01 percent of total infections, according to the health ministry’s website. Also, the Corona recovery rate was recorded as 98.80 percent. Corona death rate is 1.19 percent. So far, the number of people who have recovered from Corona has increased to 4,41,57,297.
Further, according to the Union Health Ministry website, 220.64 crore Covid vaccines have been provided in the country so far under the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive.
