The Delhi BJP has asked Elon Musk to block the Twitter account of senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia, who is currently in Tihar Jail in the Delhi Excise Policy case. Delhi BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga alleged that Sisodia is a criminal and someone else is using his Twitter handle on his behalf. Bagga appealed to Elon Musk to block the AAP leader’s account as he is currently in jail.
Harassment of the female judge.. Her photos were morphed and Rs. 20 lakhs demand
Bagga said this while retweeting a tweet by the former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister’s Twitter handle criticizing the ruling BJP for arresting him without proper evidence and implicating him in the liquor policy case. Sisodia said in it that they (BJP) are sending those who opened schools in the country to jail. But it became interesting to see a tweet from that account while in jail.
“Until now I have heard that if schools open in the country, jails will be closed. But now they have started jailing only those who have opened schools in the country,” said a tweet from Sisodia’s Twitter account. It is known that a senior AAP leader has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days till March 20 in the liquor policy scam case.
A war of words between BJP and AAP over Sisodia’s security
A war of words has started between BJP and AAP over the security of Sisodia who is currently in Tihar Jail. Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh and MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj on Wednesday alleged that Sisodia’s life in that jail was under threat. AAP leaders alleged that Sisodia was being kept in jail with other prisoners and was denied Vipassana cell. “There was a request to keep Manish Sisodia in the Vipassana cell of the jail. The court approved it. Despite the court’s permission, Sisodia was lodged with criminals in Jail No. 1. AAP MLA Bharadwaj demanded that the Center should answer this.

However, the Tihar Jail authorities denied AAP’s allegations. The former deputy chief minister has been kept in a ward of Tihar Central Jail No. 1, which has a small number of inmates and no gangsters, the jail authorities said in a statement. Manish Sisodia has been assigned to a special ward keeping security in mind, it said. It said that all the people here are in a small number of prisoners and not all of them are gangsters. It is said that the people here are well-behaved.
“Establishing a separate cell will allow meditation and other activities to be done without any hindrance. We have made all arrangements for his safety as per the jail rules. “The suspicions about his residence are baseless,” said an official, Zee News reported.
