New Delhi: National capital Delhi trembled for a while on Wednesday afternoon. A 4.4 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal. These earthquake tremors were also felt in Delhi and its surrounding areas. Along with Delhi NCR, tremors were felt in many parts of UP, Uttarakhand and Haryana.
An earthquake occurred 69 km away from Jumla in Nepal. According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter was centered at a depth of ten kilometers at 1.30 pm on Wednesday. There was no information about loss of property or loss of life in this earthquake.

Nepal has been experiencing frequent earthquakes for the past few months. Earlier on the 24th of last month, the earth shook with a magnitude of 5.8. In November last year, at least six people were killed when the country was hit by a 6.3-magnitude earthquake.
It is known that Turkey has been shaken by a series of earthquakes.
