BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha left for Delhi on Sunday. ED has issued a notice to Kavitha to appear for hearing tomorrow. With this, Kavitha left for a trip to Delhi.

Hyderabad: BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha left for Delhi on Sunday evening. Along with Kavita Kalvakuntla, Minister KTR and MP Santhosh were also present. ED has issued a notice to Kavitha to appear for hearing tomorrow. It is not yet clear whether Kavitha will attend the ED hearing tomorrow or not. There is a rumor that Kavita is likely to be investigated along with Arun Ramachandrapillai and auditor Buchibabu in the Delhi liquor scam.
In this order, the ED officials asked the court to extend the ED custody of Arun Ramachandrapillai till the 20th of this month. The court also agreed. On the other hand, Buchibabu, who previously worked as an auditor for Kavitha, was also questioned by the ED officials two days ago. Buchibabu and Arun Ramachandrapillai together with Kavita did not miss the opportunity.
But it is yet to be clarified whether Kavitha will attend the hearing tomorrow or not. ED officials arrested Arun Ramachandrapillai in Delhi liquor scam on 6th of this month. Arun Ramachandrapillai gave a key statement to the ED officials.
Arun Ramachandrapillai gave a statement to the ED officials that he acted as Kavitha’s representative in the Delhi liquor scam. But Arun Ramachandrapillai has filed a petition in the court withdrawing this statement. ED officials told the court that Kavitha is a suspect in the Delhi liquor scam. During the extension of custody of Arun Ramachandrapillai, the ED counsel told the court about this.

Kavitha attended the ED hearing on 11th of this month. Kavitha did not attend the ED hearing on 16th of this month. On 16th of this month, Kavitha sent BRS general secretary Soma Bharat to the ED office on her behalf. Kavitha has sent a letter to the ED saying that she will not be able to attend the hearing till the 24th of this month as she has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the ED investigation. But ED officials have sent notices to come for investigation on 20th of this month.
