Delhi CM and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal said that many CBI officers are against the arrest of Manish Sisodia and they themselves told him about this. But he alleged that they succumbed to political pressure. He tweeted this on Monday morning. “I have been told that many CBI officers are against Manish’s arrest. All of them have immense respect for him. There is no evidence against Sisodia. But he said the political pressure to arrest him was too much. They have become loyal to their political masters.

Sisodia was interrogated by the CBI for nearly eight hours on Sunday on allegations of corruption in the implementation of the scrapped liquor policy in Delhi. He was arrested in the evening. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said in a statement that Manish Sisodia was arrested after he evaded questions and did not cooperate with the investigation despite evidence to the contrary.
But Kejriwal got angry on this on Sunday. He criticized the CBI’s arrest of his deputy as dirty politics. Manish is innocent. His arrest is bad politics. This angered the people. People are watching everything. People understand everything now. The answer to this is: It boosts our spirits. Our fight will get stronger,” he tweeted in Hindi.
