Islamabad: A bus and a car collided with each other in Pakistan and plunged into a deep valley. Jio News said that 30 passengers died and 15 others were injured in this incident. Two vehicles collided with each other on the Karakoram highway in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kohistan district on Tuesday and fell into a ravine.

According to a Geo News report, a bus carrying passengers from Gilgit to Rawalpindi collided with an oncoming car in Shitial area of ​​the province. After receiving information about the accident, police and rescue officials reached the spot. The police took the injured and the bodies to the hospital.

Officials said that the rescue teams were facing difficulties in the rescue operation due to darkness. President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi condoled with those who lost their lives in the bus accident. Expressing condolences for those who died in this tragic incident, he said that he is praying for the families of the deceased.

Meanwhile, on January 29, Dawn reported that 41 people were killed when a passenger coach fell into a ravine in Pakistan’s Balochistan. The incident took place in Lasbela district of Balochistan. Lasbela Assistant Commissioner Hamza Anjum said the vehicle was traveling from Quetta to Karachi with 48 passengers as per the Dawn report.

He said the vehicle hit a bridge pillar near Lasbela and then fell into a ravine and caught fire. “Due to overspeeding, the coach hit a bridge pillar while taking a U-turn near Lasbela. The vehicle then fell into a ravine and caught fire,” Dawn quoted Hamza Anjum as saying.
