Former Haryana minister Dharambir Gaba (91) passed away on Saturday. He has been suffering from illness for some time. When the news of his death came, his activists and fans reached his residence in Sector 15 in large numbers and paid their respects. He served four times as a minister in the Bhajan Lal-led government in Haryana.
Congress MP Deepender Hooda and former minister Sukhbir Kataria paid tribute to former MLA Gaba Partheeva. A Congress leader said that he is a veteran of the party and has worked immensely for the development of Gurugram. He was popular among the people of Gurugram, especially among the Punjabi brothers. His last rites were performed at Rambagh crematorium in Madanapuri in the afternoon.
