BJP MP Gautam Gambhir: Bharatiya Janata Party MP, former cricketer Gautam Gambhir has criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s government. Describing the Delhi Excise Policy scam as an ‘open and shut case’, Gambhir alleged that this policy was designed to use money to contest elections with the help of the Khalistan group. So Manish Sisodia reacted to the arrest saying that the AAP leaders should get what they deserve. Also, Manish criticized Sisodia saying that this is the first time in the country that an education minister has gone to jail in a liquor scam case.

“This is an open and close case. They should get what they deserve. This is the first time in India that an education minister has gone to Tihar Jail in a liquor scam case. This policy was designed to loot money to contest elections with the help of Khalistan,” Gautam Gambhir alleged. He said that if Manish Sisodia, who is the Minister of Education in the CM Arvind Kejriwal government and the head of Excise Department of Delhi Government, has opened schools and colleges, he should show it to the BJP. They stated that they will not withdraw the liquor policy if there are no irregularities. “This is not the time to make emotional statements. Show us if he (Sisodia) opens schools, colleges, hospitals. He may go to the Supreme Court, but the actions of the Delhi Chief Minister and AAP have been exposed today,” he said.

Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party leader Harish Khurana has demanded the resignation of ministers Manish Sisodia and Satyender Jain in Kejriwal’s government who are in jail, recalling the Aam Aadmi Party leader’s earlier resignation. Manish Sisodia has approached the Supreme Court challenging the CBI’s arrest in the Excise Policy scam case in Delhi. Sisodia was arrested on February 26 after an 8-hour interrogation. BJP leader Harish Khurana demanded that Sisodia and Jain resign, taking moral responsibility.

On Monday, Manish Sisodia approached the Supreme Court challenging the court’s verdict regarding the custody. “He has the right to go to the Supreme Court but raising a question on moral grounds.. Arvind Kejriwal used to say in 2013 that anyone accused should resign. That allegation will be proved later. He accused leaders like Nitin Gadkari, Sheila Dixit, Chidambaram. But today one of his ministers is in jail for 8 months. He mentioned that the other is in police remand.

“Two Delhi ministers are in jail. You have not removed Satyender Jain till date. Where is your morals? We ask you (Arvind Kejriwal) to resign based on the morals of the two ministers. Sisodia has 22 ministries. Will they be thrown out of jail? Is it not constitutional in Delhi?” ..” asked the BJP leader.
