Spot gold was down 0.3 percent at $1,906.75 an ounce by 0321 GMT, after rising more than 2 percent on Monday to its highest level since Feb. 3. US gold futures also fell 0.3 percent to $1,911.00.
Spot silver was down 0.5 percent at $21.70 an ounce, platinum was down 0.5 percent at $991.19, and palladium was down 1 percent at $1,459.20. The exchange rate of the Indian rupee is at Rs.82.393 against the dollar in the international market.
