Jagan government has given good news to poor students. The government has said that funds will be released on the 19th of this month in connection with the Jagananna Vidya Divena Scheme, which aims to enable poor students to pursue higher studies. CM Jagan will press the button in the meeting held in NTR district Tiruvuru and deposit these funds in the students’ accounts. Actually the program was supposed to be held on the 18th of this month.. Jagan postponed his program to the 19th as the inter exams were being held at the social welfare gurukula school next to the CM Sabha venue.
Meanwhile, the AP government is providing full fee reimbursement to the eligible poor students under the Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme. Rs.20 thousand for engineering, medicine, degree and other courses, Rs.10 thousand for ITI students and Rs.15 thousand for polytechnic students are deposited in their accounts. College fees are deposited in the accounts of students’ mothers every 3 months.
