Kharge slams Modi govt on Pawan Khera’s arrest: Senior Congress leader Pawan Khera was arrested by the police at the national capital Delhi airport during Hydrama. Delhi Police and Assam Police reached there and took him into custody. Due to this, there was a chaotic situation for some time. As Khera was taken down from the plane, Congress ranks blocked the plane. Congress leaders are worried about the runway. Senior Congress leaders KC Venugopal accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government of acting like a group of goons. Pawan Khera was arrested from Delhi-Raipur flight to prevent him from participating in the AICC plenary. “It is shameful and unacceptable for the government to use the FIR to restrict his movement and suppress those who question him, and the entire party is with Pawan,” he said.
