It is a fact that director Rajamouli’s Baahubali has increased the air of Pan India films. Rajamouli is getting praise for removing language barriers in Indian cinema. Internationally, Rajamouli’s name is also resounding. Celebrities like Steven Spielberg and James Cameron also fell in love with taking Jakanna.

Directors like Rajamouli, Mani Ratnam and Sukumar participated in the Directors Summit held in Chennai recently. An interesting conversation took place between the three of them during this event. Legendary director Mani Ratnam explained how Rajamouli inspired him.

You all know.. I have been waiting for many years for Ponnayan Selvam’s film to be released. I don’t see the right way to make such a big picture. Just then Baahubali movie came out.. that too came in two parts and pleased the audience. That’s when my eyes opened. That’s when I felt that big stories can be told like this.

Mani Ratnam said that if Baahubali had not come in two parts, Ponniyan Selvam would not have been possible. Rajamouli immediately responded.. Sir this is the biggest compliment I have received and said to Mani Ratnam.

It is known that Rajamouli’s RRR film is winning awards on international platforms. Natu Natu song is one step away from Oscar award.
