Speaking on this occasion, Rajinikanth recalled his relationship with Venkaiah Naidu. He stated that he did not like giving the post of Vice President to Venkaiah Naidu. He said that Venkaiah Naidu, who was known as a great leader, was kept away from politics.
He stated that he was personally upset when Venkaiah Naidu got the post of Vice President. He said that although the post of Vice President is the second highest constitutional post in the country, the post has less powers. An active person like Venkaiah Naidu, who has a flawless political life.. Rajinikanth revealed his heart that he wanted to be more active in politics as Union Minister.
Venkaiah Naidu said in the same program that Rajinikanth thought it was not a good idea to enter politics and gave him advice. “I approached the actor when I heard through a friend about Rajinikanth’s intention to enter politics. I called Rajinikanth to express my views. Since I admired him as an actor, I advised him with his experience. Rajinikanth belongs to a rare class of extraordinary actors who possess qualities like humility and simplicity. He has an incomparable social commitment,” said Venkaiah Naidu.
“Politics is not healthy. To be healthy, one should not enter politics,” said Venkaiah Naidu. But he said that he is not discouraging those who enter politics. He suggested that more and more young people should enter politics, only if they have discipline, honesty, dedication and commitment to ideology.
