In Chittoor district, factional differences have once again surfaced in the ruling YCP. There is a rumor that there is some gap between Chittoor MLA Arani Srinivasulu and Vijayananda Reddy from the same district who is the RTC Vice Chairman. As these two are organizing programs separately, the activists have also divided into factions. In this order, the party leadership suggested to both the leaders to organize programs together. However, there is a campaign going on in the YCP circles that there is nothing going on in the situation.
As Vijayananda Reddy did not attend the recent meeting held at the YCP office, the class differences in the party were once again exposed. An intimate meeting was held in YCP office for the nomination process of party MLC candidates. In this meeting, an argument took place between Deputy CM Narayanaswamy and MLA Arani Srinivas. Deputy CM Narayana Swamy, while coming to the meeting, questioned MLA Srinivasulu as to why RTC Chairman YS Vijayananda Reddy was not called.
MLA Srinivasulu expressed impatience with the Deputy CM’s words in the same way. He said that he called Vijayananda Reddy. He came to the party office in the morning and left. He expressed impatience that if he did not come to the meeting, he would be responsible for it. This led to a small argument between the two. In this order, along with MLC Bharat and some other public representatives, Narayanaswamy attended the meeting. But Narayana Swamy’s relatives expressed their anger that MLA Srinivas had ignored the words of the head.
