Inappropriate comments on Tamilisai: Apologies to Kaushik Reddy, Women’s Commission, Governor too


BRS MLC Kaushik Reddy, who made inappropriate comments on Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, appeared before the National Commission for Women in Delhi on Tuesday. He apologized to the commission for his comments on this occasion. Kaushik Reddy also told the commission that he would also apologize to the governor through a letter.

It is known that the differences between Chief Minister KCR and Governor Tamilisa Soundarrajan in Telangana have been going on for a long time. In this order, Kaushik Reddy recently said that he made inappropriate comments on Governor Tamilisai Soundarrajan. Kaushik Reddy used inappropriate language while questioning why the Governor is not clearing the files of bills passed in the Assembly and Council.

In this order, there is a large demand to take action against Kaushik Reddy. The BJP ranks are protesting in some places, expressing their anger over Kaushik Reddy’s comments. Akula Srivani, Corporator of Sarur Nagar Division in Hyderabad also filed a police complaint against Kaushik Reddy.

Also BC Political JAC filed a complaint against Kaushik Reddy to the State Human Rights Commission on 28th of last month. BC Political JAC leaders have asked Kaushik Reddy to impeach Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan for inappropriate comments. They appealed to the DGP to register a criminal case against Kaushik Reddy. The complaint stated that Kaushik Reddy had dishonored the constitutional post by making inappropriate comments on the Governor. He demanded that strict action should be taken against Kaushik Reddy to prevent such incidents from happening again in the future. In this order, the National Commission for Women has issued notices to Kaushik Reddy on Sunday. He was ordered to appear before the commission office in Delhi on 21st of the month.
