Ray Dalio, American billionaire investor and founder of Bridgewater Associates, said that India is set to become one of the fastest growing countries in the coming years. Dalio, who was invited to address the World Government Summit 2023 in Dubai, ranked India highly in the session titled “Governments and Changing World Order”. He spoke in a conversation with the UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi.
India has a bright future. A study of the last 10 years, based on what we see for the country, India will have the largest, fastest growth rate. “This country will see the biggest transformation in the rest of the world,” Dalio said.
Dalio said that the US and China have power conflicts, but “neutral countries” like India will develop. Countries away from wars will benefit, he said. “India’s dynamic is very interesting. It is dominated by a few families. It was not open.. not an easy place to enter. But it works well,” said Dalio.
