Telangana Chief Minister KCR is visiting Kamareddy district on Wednesday. CM KCR’s couple participated in the marriage ceremony of Shri Venkateswara Swamy in Timmapur of Birkur mandal in the district.

Telangana Chief Minister KCR is visiting Kamareddy district on Wednesday. CM KCR who visited the district was welcomed by Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and other public representatives. Later, CM KCR’s couple reached the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple (Telangana Tirumala Devasthanam) in Timmapur, Birkur mandal of the district. The priests of the temple welcomed the CM KCR couple who reached the Venkateswara Swamy temple with Purna Kumbha. It is known that the annual Brahmotsavam is being held in Timmapur Venkateswara Swamy Temple from February 26.
In this order, CM KCR’s couple participated in the wedding ceremony of Sri Venkateswara Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi, which is being held on Wednesday. On this occasion, KCR’s couple presented silk clothes to the Lord and performed special pooja. CM KCR Swami was decorated with a 2 kg gold crown. Vedic scholars gave Vedic blessings and tirtha prasadas to the KCR couple who participated in the Kalyanotsavam. Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy and MP Santosh Kumar were also present with KCR. In the wake of CM KCR’s visit to the district, the Kamareddy district administration has made massive security arrangements.
Also, on the request of Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, CM KCR has allocated Rs. 23 crores have been sanctioned. Various development works were undertaken to recreate the temple on the model of Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Andhra Pradesh with other facilities like mada streets, Rajagopuram, Galigopuram, Yagashala, Koneru, Kalyana Katta, guest house with 54 suites, Kalyana Mandapam etc.
