The chances of Telangana Chief Minister and BRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s plan of national politics to collapse are high. KCR does not have enough strength to face BJP alone. The expansion of BRS in other states is not a foregone conclusion. At the same time many leaders of other regional parties are moving away from KCR. While other regional parties are thinking of forming an alliance with the Congress against the BJP at the national level, KCR has a different attitude. As the main rival in Telangana is the Congress, he might be thinking that an alliance with that party at the national level would create a problem in the assembly elections.
