Suspected terrorist Arif, who has links with terrorist organization Al Qaeda, has been arrested in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Internal Security Department (ISD) and National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted a joint operation and arrested Arif. Arif is a software engineer by profession. Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Arif is married and has children. He resides in Thanisandra, Bangalore. He is currently working in a private company Arif.. is working through work from home. .
ISD suspects that Arif is in touch with ISIS and is preparing to join the terrorist organization. It is believed that the accused already had contact with Al-Qaeda. In March, it was found that he was planning to go to Syria via Iraq. He was arrested in Bangalore in this order. His laptop and other electronic devices were also seized. But officials are searching his house in Thanisandra area of the city for more clues.
