Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli is involved in another controversy. Kambli was arrested by the Mumbai police for allegedly assaulting his wife while drunk. Kambli’s wife Andrea Hewitt lodged a complaint with the police and arrested him.
Going into the details… Kambli currently resides in Bandra area of Mumbai with his wife and a son. Two days ago he drank a lot at home. In the afternoon he drank without soi. In the same order, he had a fight with Andrea. After that he assaulted his wife under the influence of alcohol.
Despite his son’s attempts to restrain Kambli, he also pushed him away and indiscriminately attacked Andrea with a pan handle in the kitchen. She could not resist the beatings and called the police. According to the complaint given by Andrea, the Bandra police took Kambli into custody and arrested him. Andrea, who is seriously injured, is currently undergoing treatment.
