The National Investigation Agency (NIA) will continue to conduct searches in more than 70 locations across the country. NIA officials are conducting raids in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi-NCR. The attacks, which started early on Tuesday, are still ongoing. It seems that searches are being conducted in more than 30 areas in one Punjab. NIA officials are conducting these searches in connection with the cases registered in connection with gangster and criminal syndicate. It seems that the NIA has interrogated dozens of gangsters who were part of the Lawrence Bishnoi and Neeraj Bawana gangs.
NIA officials are raiding houses of arms suppliers in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh. It seems that the NIA officials are collecting details on the supply of weapons to the gangsters. But this is the fourth time that NIA has conducted searches in connection with these cases.
Further, Lawrence Bishnoi was arrested by the NIA on November 24, 2022 in a case related to conspiracy to create terror among the people by a syndicate of terrorists, gangsters and drug smugglers. Lawrence Bishnoi was arrested when he was in Bathinda Jail.
