Leading auto giant Nissan has announced a recall of nearly four lakh cars in the market. Nissan has taken this decision as their first priority is to give safety to the customers by identifying defects in various model cars and correcting them.

Recently, many auto companies are recalling the cars in the market after finding defects in their cars. In the past, Maruti Car has also recalled its company’s cars in the market to correct the defects in several models of its company’s cars. Recently, the Nissan company has also announced that it is recalling all four lakh vehicles in the market, which has created a stir in the auto industry.
The company has recalled more than 4 lakh units of Nissan cars due to defects in seat belts and steering wheel. These faults are found in North America. The company has since recalled 463,000 vehicles there. Keeping in mind the safety of its customers, the company has taken this decision to avoid any inconvenience to the public, the company said in a statement.
Nissan has recalled these model cars
Among the cars recalled by Nissan are some Frontier flagship cars from 2008 to 2011. The recalled vehicles include Titan, Xterra, Pathfinder and Armada SUV models. Along with this, the company has also recalled the 2008 and 2009 Quest minivans. The company has also recalled about 11,000 parts used in the cars. Giving information on behalf of the company, it said that someone could be injured due to these defects. That is why the company has taken such a decision.
When to go for servicing
According to media reports, the company is yet to start servicing the car. Customers will be informed about this by mail in April. When going for servicing. They will provide the facility to rectify these defects through the dealer.
Partnership with Renault
Along with Nissan-Renault, it is gearing up to make its mark on the Indian market even stronger. As part of this, both the companies are going to bring 6 new models in mutual partnership. These include 4 new C segment SUVs and two new A segment electric vehicles. It has three models from two companies. These global modules are family platform based. These will be developed domestically at the company’s plants in Chennai. The company will invest Rs.5,300 crore in this new project.
