Not dreaming of becoming Prime Minister, but in 2024.. : Uddhav Thackeray
General elections will be held in the country next year. All the parties have already started their strategy for this election. Uddhav Thackeray from Maharashtra is also ready in this order. Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday said that he does not dream of becoming the Prime Minister of the country, but will definitely try to bring change in the 2024 elections.
Sanjay Raut had earlier said that Uddhav Thackeray is the best man for the post of Prime Minister. After this announcement by Sanjay Raut, a discussion started in the political circles. Uddhav Thackeray made this statement to put an end to those discussions. On a question about the name of Uddhav Thackeray for the post of Prime Minister in 2024, Raut said, “It is not easy to predict now, anything can happen in politics. But, Uddhav Thackeray is the best person for the post of Prime Minister.”
Not dreaming of becoming Prime Minister
He further said, “Mahavikas Aghadi has decided that if Uddhav Thackeray becomes the Chief Minister, we will come together and form the government. Today, Uddhav Thackeray’s face is important to many prominent opposition figures.” Addressing a press conference on Raut’s comment, Uddhav Thackeray said, “I dream of becoming Prime Minister, but I will definitely try to make a difference in 2024.”
Uddhav Thackeray criticizes BJP
The former Chief Minister of Maharashtra said that the victory of MVA in the Kasaba Assembly by-election has proved that they can win unitedly against the BJP. We have written to the Prime Minister on misuse of central institutions. The opposition leaders are being put in trouble and the continuous misuse of central institutions is not stopping. This was once the stance of the Congress party. They thought they were invincible but faced defeat and now same is the case with BJP. But times change. Uddhav Thackeray said that they will also lose.
Uddhav Thackeray said that the government will announce a package and fix the crop loss of the farmers. “He has been accused of sitting at home and not going out, even now. He said that the rulers should meet the farmers and listen to their problems. Otherwise we will hit the road with protest,” said Thackeray
Earlier, Congress leader from Kasba Assembly constituency Ravindra Ghanekar congratulated Uddhav Thackeray who won the by-election by defeating the BJP candidate. Ghanekar said that he had come to seek blessings from Uddhav Thackeray as he too was once a Shiv Sena leader. But Ghanekar denied that he will join Shiv Sena (UBT) again.
Thackeray described BJP’s defeat in the Kasba by-election as a major victory. Ravindra Dhangekar is happy to be MLA from Congress. He further said, “Kasba seat is a traditional seat of Bharatiya Janata Party. Congress MLA Dhangekar won here under the leadership of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).” Addressing the BJP government, Thackeray said, “Once the Congress thought no one could defeat them, now the BJP also thinks the same. But soon their government will also fall and they too will lose.”
At the same time Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced that he will form the government once again. We will win, BJP and NDA will once again form the government together in Maharashtra and at the Centre, he said, and the good work done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will get good results. Gadkari said that we have instilled confidence in people with our good work and will take it forward.
