Senior YCP leader, Kakinada City MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy challenged TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu. He said that he will resign from his post if it is proved that PDS rice will go to the ports. Dwarampudi stated that Lokesh should not contest the next election if he does not prove it. Chandrasekhar Reddy stated that your son will not win wherever he contests.. Chandrababu should accept his challenge. He complained that Chandrababu is unable to see the development of ports.

Keeping in view the 2024 elections, Vaikapa President and CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has brought his party ranks into an active election mood. In the recently held party meeting, the campaign of ‘Jagananne ma bhavishyatu’ has been brought forward to prepare for the elections from now. For door-to-door campaign, ‘Micro Poll Management’ is being implemented by ‘Griha Saradhi’ for 50 families. In this program, the administration will explain the welfare of the people, the schemes being implemented and the failure of previous governments to the people.

Interestingly, following Jagan, the Telugu Desam Party is also trying to check the ruling party with similar strategies. TDP is ready to implement Vaikapa-style strategy with sadikara saradas per 30 families. YCP and TDP have started the election race early to reach the voters considering every vote as valuable and crucial in the Assembly as well as the Lok Sabha elections. Although these are expected to be held simultaneously, there are also speculations that there will be early assembly elections in AP.
