New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the shawls of Meghalaya and Nagaland to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Saturday. It is known that Olaf Scholz is on a visit to India. Prime Minister Modi met him at Hyderabad House in Delhi. Assembly elections will be held in the states of Meghalaya and Nagaland on 27th of this month.
Authorities explained that these two items should reflect the culture of the tribes in those states. The culture of the tribes and their skills are revealed. Both Meghalaya and Nagaland are northeastern states.
