YSR Telangana Party President YS Sharmi has been arrested by the Delhi Police. YS Sharmila, who is alleging massive corruption in the Kaleshwaram project built in Telangana state, is demanding a CBI inquiry into this. In this order, YS Sharmila went on dharna at Jantar Mantar in Delhi today. YS Sharmila said that many big scams have happened in India. Kaleswaram Lift Irrigation Project scam is the biggest scam in the country. He said that he came here today to bring it to light. They demanded an inquiry into the corruption in the construction of the Kaleswaram project.
He said that he will walk from here to tell the Parliament how big this scam is. However, while YS Sharmila was leaving Jantar Mantar for a walk to Parliament, she was stopped by the police when she moved a short distance ahead. Later, Sharmi was taken into custody and moved from there.
However, while Sharmila was being detained by the police, the Vice-STP leaders and activists who protested with her at Jantar Mantar raised slogans against the Telangana government. Due to this, there is a tense situation.
