Police too.. not to disturb us.. put a check on rapists, murderers, gangsters: Nara Lokesh


TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national general secretary Nara Lokesh once again criticized the Vaikapa government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He urged the Chief Minister to focus on solving the problems of common people. He said that the duty of the police is not to create obstacles, but to check rapists, murderers and gangsters. He said that the way the police are behaving in the state is strange.

Going into the details.. TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh is continuing his state-wide padayatra. His ‘Yuvagalam’ padayatra is getting good response from people. TDP ranks are participating in large numbers. Speaking to the villagers of Sadashivapuram and Modugulapadu in Srikalahasti Assembly constituency on Wednesday as part of his Padayatra Yuvagalam, he said, ‘Even if I don’t use it, the police grab my mic and pull the bench’. He opined that the attitude of the state police is somewhat strange and is changing day by day.

He said that the duty of the police is not to create obstacles for him. He opined that the police should focus on checking rapists, murderers and gangsters. The National General Secretary of TDP suggested that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy should focus on solving the problems of common people. He said that the students are not getting the fee reimbursement and the youth are facing difficulties in finding employment. Instead of creating problems for him, he advised the CM to focus on such matters. He said that there should be a change in the manner of police and government in the state in such a way that people’s problems are taken care of.

As part of his padayatra, Madi Bala and Rajula Kandriga met with the farmers. It was in this sequence that he criticized the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy while mentioning the problems of the farmers. Describing Jagan Mohan Reddy as a holiday CM, he criticized crop holidays, power holidays and aqua holidays during the YCP regime. Nara Lokesh promised to link the employment guarantee scheme with agriculture as soon as TDP comes to power. He said that TDP will soon announce activities to solve the problems of farmers.

After YSRCP came to power, the state created a record of debt, farmers’ suicides, and the prevailing price of crops (low MSP). Meanwhile, Nara Lokesh Yavagalam Padayatra completed 329.1 kilometers in 24 days. It will enter the Tirupati Assembly constituency on Thursday evening.
