Visakhapatnam: Polling for MLC elections is going on in Andhra Pradesh from 8 am today. Elections are being held in Visakhapatnam-Vijaynagaram-Srikakulam, Prakasam-Nellore-Chittoor, Kadapa-Ananthapuram-Kurnool Pattabhadhrula MLC constituencies along with 2 Upadhyay and 3 MLC seats of local bodies. Already graduates, teachers and representatives of local organizations are actively participating in polling. Along with TDP candidate Chiranjeevi Rao, BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao, former minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna and others exercised their right to vote. Polling will continue till four o’clock in the evening.
