A fatal road accident took place in Robertsganj, Uttar Pradesh. The driver lost control of his vehicle and the pickup truck overturned. Police said on Friday that two people died and six others were injured in the accident. The accident took place near Kusidaur village in Robertsganj. The group was on their way to attend a wedding when the accident occurred.
Robertsganj Police Station SHO Balmukund Mishra said that Sashi Sharma (35) and Vinay Rajbhar (40) from Varanasi died in this accident. Mishra said that two of the six injured, Arun (19) and Ajit (20), are in serious condition. Police said that the injured are being treated at the district hospital and the bodies have been shifted for post-mortem.

With the help of police forces, the four injured were taken to the hospital in an escort vehicle and a government ambulance.
