Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao blamed BRS ranks for attacking TPCC chief Revanth Reddy’s padayatra with chicken eggs. Former MP V. Hanumantha Rao spoke to the media in Hyderabad on Wednesday. He termed the attack of chicken eggs on Revanth as evil. Hanumantha Rao asked if BRS assembly is held in AP, should they also carry out similar attacks? He said that if stones are thrown at us and we go to AP, the same will happen to BRS.
Hanumantha Rao asked KCR to keep his MLAs under control. He alleged that Gandra Venkataramana Reddy attacked Revanth Reddy’s padayatra for the praise of KCR.

Congress leader Mallu Ravi opined that BRS leaders will face fierce resistance from the people if they carry out such attacks. He demanded the arrest of BRS ranks who tried to attack Revanth Reddy’s padayatra.
Yesterday, Revanth Reddy was attacked with chicken eggs by unknown persons during his padayatra in Bhupalapally. Revanth Reddy was furious on this attack. He said it was the work of the followers of local MLA Gandra Venkataramana Reddy. Revanth Reddy warned that Gandra Venkataramana Reddy’s house and theater will not be there if he reaches there.
Revanth Reddy started padayatra in Medaram on 6th of last month. Since the beginning of the padayatra, there have been no clashes. But yesterday they attacked Revanth Reddy with chicken eggs in Bhupalapalli.
