The Congress-led UPA government during its ten-year rule spent Rs. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that 12 lakh crore scams were committed, but there was not a single corruption charge against the central government under Prime Minister Modi. Amit Shah participated in the ‘Vijay Sankalp’ rally of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in Maharashtra’s Kolhapur city on Sunday.

The Congress-led UPA government during its ten-year rule spent Rs. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday alleged that 12 lakh crore scams were committed, but there was not even a single rupee of corruption against the central government under Prime Minister Modi.
He was speaking at the ‘Vijay Sankalp’ rally of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists in the western Maharashtra city of Kolhapur. He said that not even a single rupee was charged against the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, compared to the past, in the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government led by former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Rs. Senior BJP leader Amit Shah said that 12 lakh crores were involved in scams.
Economic expert Manmohan Singh ruled as Prime Minister for a decade, but at that time India’s economy was ranked 11th. But Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership has been upgraded. He said that India has reached the 5th position. Shah claimed that while the economic progress was slow despite the Congress coming to power, the growth would pick up under the BJP government. The Union Minister reiterated that every opposition party was wrong about the abrogation of Article 370, which revoked special status for Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that almost all political parties said that removal of special status would lead to bloodshed and when our government removed special status, no one dared to throw a pebble till today. He alleged that during the Congress-led government, a Pakistan-sponsored insurgency was active in Jammu and Kashmir. No one has the courage to face such acts of terrorism in Delhi. The North East is facing opposition to hoisting the national flag. He said that Kashmir is highly unstable and anarchy has reached its peak.
