Lucknow: The school management did not allow a 9th class girl to take the exam for non-payment of school fees. The parents of the girl pleaded that they would pay the fee if given some time, but the school management did not listen. She was not allowed to take the exam. A 14-year-old girl who came home got angry and committed suicide. The incident took place in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh.
Baradari resident Ashok Kumar’s 14-year-old daughter is studying in class 9. He studied in a local private school. Ashok Kumar said that he could not deposit the school fees due to some financial problems. He explained that he requested the school management to give some time to pay the fee. But, he alleged that he did not allow his daughter to attend the examination on Friday. He complained to the police. The girl was deeply hurt because she was not allowed to take the exam. After returning home, she committed suicide.

SP Rahul Bhati registered a case based on the complaint filed by the family members. Investigation started.
