Hyderabad: The presence of Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy at the CBI inquiry today in the murder case of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy is in suspense. On Friday at 11 am, the CBI officials issued a notice to YS Avinash Reddy to appear for questioning. However, YS Avinash Reddy filed a petition in the Telangana High Court on Thursday.
In the petition, he was asked to be interrogated in the presence of a lawyer. Moreover, YS Avinash Reddy has also asked for audio and video recording of his trial in that petition. The hearing on this petition is likely to be heard in the Telangana High Court on Friday morning at 10:30 am.
As a petition has been filed in the Telangana High Court, it is not yet clear whether the CBI will go for investigation or not. YS Avinash Reddy is in consultation with legal experts regarding this matter. It is reported that he is discussing with legal experts whether or not he should attend the CBI investigation as he has filed a petition in the High Court.
