The Prime Minister also mentioned the humanitarian assistance provided by the Government of India to the earthquake affected areas. He commented that he knows what kind of situation Turkey is currently facing.
Also, the series of earthquakes that occurred in Turkey and Syria left a deep tragedy. Many countries are sending emergency aid. India has come forward to help Turkey, which is facing dire conditions due to the calamity. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already promised to provide all possible assistance to Turkey. In this order, the NDRF search and rescue teams left for Turkey with the first batch of relief equipment.
