INDvsAUS: Team India skipper Rohit Sharma disagrees with former captain Virat Kohli’s idea. If Kohli does as he says, Test cricket will not reach all the people of the country.

The differences between Kohli and Rohit, the latest former captains of Team India, have always been there. Former BCCI Chief Selector Chetan Sharma himself recently broke this issue in a sting operation. Recently, Rohit also disagreed with Kohli. But this is not a difference created by fans whether they discussed it directly or not. Rohit recently expressed his reaction to an opinion given by Kohli in the past.
In 2017, Kohli commented that to play Test cricket in India, some venues should be selected and Tests should be played there regularly. Kohli’s argument is that branding will also be created for many cities in the country.
Kohli said in 2017.. ‘We have been discussing this for a long time. In my view, it is better to select five test centers and play matches in them. I know that some State Cricket Associations will suffer a lot in this process. But they should be given T20 and ODIs. When it comes to Test cricket, if we play in five selected Test centers, the players will have a clear understanding of the conditions there and people will come to watch these matches..” he said.
Reporters asked Rohit Sharma the same question after the third Test, which was to be held in Dharamsala, was shifted to Indore. Rohit replied to this question… ‘If you want to promote Test cricket you have to play it in every part of the country. Don’t limit it to certain areas. If that is the case, Test cricket will not reach everyone..” he said.
And this debate once again sparked a fire between Rohit and Kohli’s fans on social media. Hitman’s fans are angry that what Rohit said about Test centers is true, but his fans are arguing that what Kohli said is correct. There has been an argument for setting up five or six test centers in India like Lord’s, The Oval, Birmingham, Trent Bridge in England, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in Australia for a long time. Cricket analysts have been arguing for a long time that the brand image of those cities will also increase.
