On the occasion of International Women’s Day, KCR government gave good news to the women employees of the state. Casual leave has been announced for women employees on the occasion of Women’s Day. Telangana General Administration Department has issued orders to this extent. The order was issued under the signature of Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari. CS ordered to take necessary steps accordingly. According to this order, casual leave will be applied to all women employees in the state on Women’s Day.
Meanwhile, in celebration of International Women’s Day, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department will organize Women’s Weeks from March 8 across the state. State Municipal Administration Minister Minister KTR directed the officials to prepare an action plan to celebrate Women’s Day in a grand manner highlighting the importance of women power and their role in the society. In this background, the officials of the municipal administration department have prepared the procedure to organize women’s week celebrations in the towns of the state.
As part of this, the authorities have launched various programs. These programs will start on March 8 on Women’s Day and will continue for a week. For this, women representatives of urban and rural local bodies, self-help groups, sanitation workers and voluntary organizations will organize programs related to women’s week.
