The Telangana party chief Chandrababu Naidu launched the door-to-door Telugu Desam program today. Chandrababu Naidu along with TTDP president Kasani Gnaneshwar, senior leader Ravula Chandrasekhar and others participated in this program which was held at NTR Trust Bhavan in Hyderabad. Before starting the door-to-door Telugu Desam program, a two-minute silence was observed to mourn the recent death of Tarakaratna. Later, Chandrababu said that everyone in Telangana has TDP in their hearts. He said that if you come here, you can see where TDP is.
Chandrababu reminded that NTR formed TDP on Telangana soil. He said that TDP was founded to protect the self-respect of Telugu people. He said that TDP has been working for Telugu people for 41 years. He said that it was the TDP that initiated the welfare schemes. Patel and NTR, who abolished the Patwari system, said that they gave land to the poor. He said that the land system was canceled and the farmer benefited. He said that TDP has given priority to youth and women.
He said that the credit of making Hyderabad a pioneer in IT belongs to TDP. He said that infrastructural facilities have been provided in Hyderabad like nowhere else in the country. He said that the credit of building Cyberabad belongs to TDP. He said that the party is getting stronger under the leadership of Kasani Gnaneshwar. He said that the mission of TDP is to create wealth, provide employment, development and distribute the created wealth to the poor. He said that TDP works for Telugu people wherever they are in the world.
He said that those who asked where TDP is in Telangana got the answer after Khammam Sabha. He said that the party will be strengthened in Telangana under the leadership of Kasani Gnyaneshwar. Chandrababu advised the party ranks to work together and bring glory to the party. He said that the party respects only the leaders who are among the people.
He suggested that people should not hang around the leaders. He announced NTR centenary celebrations on May 28. Everyone has been called to reconsider to achieve NTR’s ambition. He explained that it is the wish of Telugu people to get the Bharat Ratna and it is an honor for the country. He asked them to go door to door in Telangana and convey the uniqueness of the party. He said that the TDP should strengthen the professional associations and caste associations.
