A woman doctor was stabbed to death by her boyfriend in Jammu. Later he tried to commit suicide by injuring himself with the same knife. Presently the condition of the accused is serious.

New Delhi: A woman doctor was stabbed to death by her boyfriend in Jammu and Kashmir. He then tried to commit suicide by injuring himself with a knife. Both of them quarreled over a personal matter. After that, in anger, he killed the doctor with a kitchen knife. This incident took place in Jammu.
Sumedha Sharma from Tallab Tillo in Jammu and Johar Ganai from Pamposh Colony love each other. Both are in a relationship. Both of them completed Bachelors in Dental Surgery. Sumedha Sharma went beyond Jammu for MDS. She returned home on 7th March to celebrate the festival of Holi. On this occasion she went to her boyfriend.
There they had a fight. In a fit of rage, Zohar Ganai stabbed her in the stomach with a kitchen knife. She collapsed on the floor. Later, Johar also stabbed himself in the stomach with the same knife.

One of Johar’s relatives called the police. Johar posted on his Facebook account that he was dying due to personal problems. The police immediately went to Johar’s house. They broke the lock on the gate of the house in Janipur in Jammu and went inside. Sumedha was already seen in the pool of blood. There were blood stains on the stomach of the accused.
Both of them were taken to the hospital by the police. Sumedha could not survive. The condition of the accused is now critical.
